About this course

The Certificate III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying (CPC33020) is a trade-level qualification that teaches you everything you need to become a qualified bricklayer in Australia. You’ll learn to lay and bond bricks and building blocks, construct masonry walls and corners, build arches, columns, steps and stairs, create feature walls, curved walls and ornamental panels, install flashings and damp proof courses, and work safely on scaffolding.

This course covers domestic, commercial and public building construction. You’ll gain hands-on skills while learning to interpret plans and specifications, apply measurements and calculations, and follow work health and safety practices to meet industry standards.
