This qualification covers the skills and knowledge needed by professional builders, providing skills and techniques to manage a successful building business, such as how to plan construction work, apply building codes and supervise on-site construction projects.
Students gain trade outcome in building, covering work in residential and commercial applications. The qualification has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as a specialist field of work. Completion of the general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (ASCC 2007) is required before entering a construction work site – achievement of unit CPCCWHS1001 covers this requirement.
This program is delivered in Everthought Education’s purpose designed facilities where emphasis is placed on providing hands-on, practical training. Training is delivered by accredited, trade trainer/assessors with current industry experience.
