Our CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) is designed to teach you the ins and outs of project management, as well as the skills to plan, coordinate, execute and finalise the construction of medium rise buildings.
You will learn how to prepare and administer a building scope, quote and prepare the schedules required to successfully manage building project as well as honing your management skills. You will be provided with in depth knowledge of applying building codes on conduct
The course prepares you for all aspects of Building management and provides the qualifications required to apply for your Building Licence (please note different states have different licensing requirements.)
This qualification reflects the role of building professionals who apply knowledge of structural principles, risk and financial management, estimating, preparing and administering building and construction contracts, selecting contractors, overseeing the work and its quality and managing construction work in building projects including residential and commercial with the following limitations:
Training is delivered by accredited trainer/assessors with current industry experience.
Upon successful completion of this course, students may be eligible for exemptions for a Tertiary level qualification or higher degree.

Everthought employs a specific strategy for the delivery of assessment services via Recognition of Prior Learning. RPL and RCC will be offered to all student for any unit where they can provide sufficient evidence of previous training and/or industry experience. RPL Candidates will be guided by an assessor through the self-assessment and workplace evidence gathering process. Candidates will engage with the assessor in a competency conversation to determine underpinning knowledge and workplace referees will provide reference in regard to the candidate’s on-the-job performance.

Prior to commencement, you will be required to undertake a quiz that will enable us to identify if additional learning support may be required.
Aside from the quiz, there are no pre-entry requirements to the course; even if you are brand new to the Building Trade, with the right attitude and appetite to learn, you will be able to join the course.
You can commence your course now and you will have two years to complete the course, entirely at your own pace.

Assessment
To demonstrate competency in each unit, you will undertake a number of assessment tasks. The assessments are a combination of knowledge questions, scenario based and practical activities. Your trainer will provide guidance and support to assist you in completing your assessments successfully.
