About this course

The Certificate III in Concreting (CPC30320) is a trade-level qualification that teaches you everything you need to become a qualified concreter in Australia. You’ll learn to place, finish and cure concrete, erect and dismantle formwork, place and fix reinforcement materials, carry out setting out and levelling, handle concreting materials and equipment, and apply decorative finishes to concrete surfaces.

This course covers residential and commercial concreting operations. You’ll gain hands-on skills while learning to read plans and specifications, determine concrete supply requirements, and follow work health and safety practices to meet industry standards.

This nationally recognised qualification lets you work for construction companies, specialise in areas like decorative concrete or tilt panel fabrication, or start your own concreting business.

Please note: Completion of the general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (ASCC 2007) is required before entering a construction work site.   • 3 to 4 years demonstrated experience with a minimum of two work referrals from qualified builders
