What your Cert III unlocks
The CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) is part of the evidence required to apply for a builder’s licence in most states. It can also open the door to roles like site supervisor, foreperson, or construction manager, and gives you the foundation to run your own building business. RPL costs less than a full course and takes a fraction of the time.
Is RPL a real qualification?
A CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) through RPL carries the same AQF accreditation as one earned through a full course. It’s treated the same by employers, licensing bodies, and government agencies across Australia. RPL is regulated by ASQA, it’s a formal assessment, not a shortcut.
