What your Cert III unlocks
In most states, a formal trade qualification is required to apply for a plastering contractor licence. Qualified tradespeople also earn higher rates and can take on bigger commercial jobs. RPL costs less than a full course and takes a fraction of the time.
Is RPL a real qualification?
A Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining through RPL carries the same AQF accreditation as one earned through an apprenticeship. It’s treated the same by employers, licensing bodies, and government agencies across Australia. RPL is regulated by ASQA, it’s a formal assessment, not a shortcut.

Step 3: Competency conversation
Your evidence is reviewed by one of our trainers, who will have a conversation with you about your skills and experience to confirm competency against the requirements.
Step 4: Receive your qualification
Once all requirements are met, you’ll be issued your CPC31220 Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining.
