This qualification covers the skills and knowledge needed by professional builders, providing skills and techniques to manage a successful building business, such as how to plan construction work, apply building codes and supervise on-site construction projects.
Students gain trade outcome in building, covering work in residential and commercial applications. The qualification has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as a specialist field of work. Completion of the general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (ASCC 2007) is required before entering a construction work site – achievement of unit CPCCWHS1001 covers this requirement.
This program is a combination of trainer-led virtual classrooms and practical workshops delivered in Everthought Education’s purpose designed facilities where emphasis is placed on providing hands-on training. Training is delivered by accredited, trade trainer/assessors with current industry experience.

Entry Requirements: Students must be 18+ years old & have completed Australian Year 12 qualification (or equivalent). You will need to undertake a LLN assessment, which will be issued at enrolment to ensure you meet the levels for Language, Literacy, and Numeracy in this course.

Everthought employs a specific strategy for the delivery of assessment services via Recognition of Prior Learning. RPL and RCC will be offered to all student for any unit where they can provide sufficient evidence of previous training and/or industry experience. RPL Candidates will be guided by an assessor through the self-assessment and workplace evidence gathering process. Candidates will engage with the assessor in a competency conversation to determine underpinning knowledge and workplace referees will provide reference in regard to the candidate’s on-the-job performance.
